Description

This is a pottery workshop for ceramists who understand the basic steps of turning a bowl or cylinder, and are seeking the next challenge at the wheel. Students are expected to come to this workshop with a specific challenge in mind – the instructor will tailor demonstrations of intermediate techniques to the group based on student requests. This workshop experience will open students' minds to many new possibilities, perspectives, and avenues that will transform your ceramics work in new and exciting ways. Some experience required, students should be able to have an understanding of centering clay on the wheel, wheel throwing and trimming pots or have taken a couple beginner pottery classes.

NOTE: No firing during this session, but some work may be eligible for post workshop bisque firing.

*June 11 is the arrival day for this session. Workshop instruction starts on June 12 and ends June 15.
